This was a very good stay, with a big room, comfortable bed and a nice bathtub. The bathroom sink was kind of awkward though. The area of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of the town with every attraction and tons of restaurants within walking distance.

This property is in a good location and the breakfasts provided were good. The rooms are another story. I u derstand that this building is 250 years old but the floor in our room was very slanted, the room was very small for 2 peoplel

A beautiful hotel, well maintained, above a really neat pub. The room was small and simple but clean and well taken care of. The location is great, very central. The breakfast was fantastic as was the gin and tonic and the Cornish stout!

Very friendly place with separate entrance, centrally located in the City Centre. Spacious room and very clean bathroom.

This is above a pub that provides breakfast the next morning. The location of this hotel is great and easy to get to. Can walk the town in the evening easily and safely. The room was very big with a sitting area and big clean bathroom. You can hear lots of noise from the street even 2 floors up. And lots of stairs to go up but would stay again for sure!

We booked a couple of nights as we were going to Bath Venue two nights running! Great location, wonderful staff and lovely food. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Had one evening meal there which was lovely, no complaints. It is situated in a busy are so noisy during the night but cant hold that against them. Will certainly book again!

Very central in bath can walk basically anywhere. Lovely breakfast and everything in room was lovely. Small rooms but got everything. Shower was really nice and shampoo was very nice. Would recommend

Overall a good place to stay. Breakfast was very nice and staff provide excellent service. The only minor inconvenience we experienced during our stay was the occasional noise at night during strong winds, likely due to vibrations from outside, possibly caused by the building’s age.

You must try The Black Fox

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Black Fox. Our room was clean and comfortable. Could not fault it. Will be booking again for future visits to Bath. Convenient for shops and 5 minute walk to Bath Forum. Food was delicious and great value for money.

Overall a good stay, the rooms are dated and there were large damp patches on the walls but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom is nicely done. Very convenient location and a few minutes walk to the shopping and amenities. The pub itself is lovely, and the included breakfast was very nice.

It was great to be in an old pub in the centre of Bath where the bed and bathroom were very clean and luxurious, and yet the pub still had that local vibe. Loved the rhubarb gin as well as the great pints of bitter. Would definitely stay at the pub again when we next visit Bath.
