"We absolutely loved our stay at Oldfields House! A beautiful place inside and out. Wonderful old world decor, delightful room with a view of the lovely garden. Great breakfast too. Thank you to Katie and the staff for making us feel so welcome and at home. Thank you also for helping us with further accommodation as we needed as extra night which Katie organised for us. Easy walking distance into the town centre too. Can’t wait to stay again."
"Bathroom need some shelves. Over all the place could do with some touch ups and cleaning. Wifi was out but that a city issue. Want told prior to asking. Small fridge and microwave in room would be nice. Did have cookies at coffee station. $10 parking that was on contract but wasn't clearly marked. Nice place and in lovely spot."
"My wife and I recently stayed at the Gainsborough that was a lovely experience. However, when my wife booked a Spa treatment the hotel refused to honour the guest 20% discount as we had book our stay through Expedia.
Very disappointing to feel although a hotel guest we were treated differently !!"
"This hotel is a good option for a weekend away. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
Breakfast was okay, although it could be improved by offering more savoury options and a wider selection overall.
Overall, we had a nice stay"
