"Beautiful boutique hotel in a great central location. Unfortunately that location also means a lot of noise from the neighbouring church and bars. The church bells will ring sporadically from dawn to dusk and the noise from the bars below goes on until 2am at the weekends! Away from that, we had a beautiful room with 2 terraces! Great service at the free breakfast. Recommended for a stay in central Valletta. "

"Amazing stay at the hotel for 5 days! Travelled as a family with young children. The rooms are spotless and the service was amazing from first night to check out. Staff were very professional and welcoming and made the children feel at home. Breakfast buffet was fabulous with many choices available from made to order omelette to many other choices. Eliana at the breakfast time was amazing, kids were looking for her each morning. Overall location, comfort and the beautiful heated pools made the hotel stand out in the true 5 star service it offered. Malta was beautiful and hope to come back again. Thank you Marriott for making our stay wonderful ❤️ "

"We loved the hotel & the central location. It’s on a very busy street that’s full of restaurants and bars. There’s loud music that is muted by the doors and windows except Friday night when we could hear a little music, but it was fine. Every employee we had contact with was helpful & very polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

Recently opened to the public, the underground Lascaris War Rooms played considerably into the changing tides of WWII – the success of Operation Husky (invasion of Sicily) represented the first steps for the Allies in taking the European mainland. Dwight Eisenhower and several other key Allied officials took residence there to co-ordinate offensive strikes in the Mediterranean.
