"I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. It’s only an 8-minute walk from Assisi train station. The location is excellent—we walked just 5 minutes to the Basilica of Santa Maria. For halal food, Alo Ali Kebab shop is right across the road, and for non-Muslims there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby. The housekeeper, Joy, was amazing—we already miss her! Special thanks to Diletta, you truly are my lifesaver. We will definitely stay here...

"Mariella, thank you for being such a wonderful host! We called Mariella a few hours before arrival to let her know when we would arrive. Once we got to our location (very peaceful and beautiful countryside property), we drove through the automated gate, and Mariella met us at our car. Check in was very quick, we were shown our room which is found in a beautiful house, where everything is new and very clean! We were given our room keys and keys to the gate. "The location could not be better, steps from St Francis Basilica. The views are spectacular. I valued the history of the hotel, which used to be a monastery. They have done a good job adding some modern conveniences while maintaining its historic foundation. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the customer service was excellent. "The restaurant the room was attached to was good but it seemed like the owner as an afterthought decided to let out rooms. My room was small and shabby. The bathroom was just as tiny. The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy. "Our stay was extraordinary. It was our third time in Assisi and we decided to explore this remodeled Palazzo. Centrally located in town and just a few minutes walking from the center plaza. You can walk to all the important sites, stores and restaurants from this property. The staff at the Palazzo treated us so nicely and were so attentive to our every need for our family of 8 (including a baby ) during our 5 day stay.
