"Breakfast was ok ; room clean parking fine"

"Breakfast included cheese omelettes and sausage patties. Overall they had the basics which suited my wife and I fine. Hotel staff was very helpful. A bit too cold yet to take a dip in the pool, but it did look clean enough. Location was convenient for access to downtown Staunton. Large Antique mall next door was an unexpected bonus. "

"Maid tried to walk in my room 2 times without knocking before 11 am checkout time. I have a dog and she wouldnt close the door after she saw we were still there. Very unprofessional. "

"The 100 year old hotel is in very good shape. Our room was clean and quiet. The hotel is right at Staunton's downtown for shopping and dining. The hotel breakfast was okay, but not outstanding. The staff was courteous and helpful. The free parking garage was adjacent and easy to use. "

"Room was nice, however sofa bed was not made and I had to go to retrieve sheets from the front desk to make it myself. Usually not a big deal, I had already been down to the lobby to unload the car so making another trip after a long day was irritating. Coffee was decaf in the room and one of the coffee machines in the lobby didn’t work making it a long wait to get coffee in the morning. "
