"Room was cosy and clean. The hosts were very courteous from arrival to departure. Breakfast was absolutely superb, very fresh and tasty produce. Would stay again."

"Breakfast was self serve up by the rooms but worked fine. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower in the morning . No TV but that did not bother me. Quite a nice change. Lovely pub with a roaring log fire and nice dinner menu in a very cute village Good parking on site "

"Only two reasons for not getting 5 stars; no plug sockets by the bed… why? Had to charge my phone across the room. They had USB sockets but not all devises use USB! The second reason is the shuttle is £4 each way… I think that’s too much. Apart from these things though, great hotel. It’s clean and modern. The check-in was quick and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. "

"Staff were friendly, good tea and coffee facilities. However, cobwebs hanging over the bed and shower needed replacing, the base was covered in black mould"

"Was in the area on business. Nice, clean, decent sized room and en-suite shower room. Friendly welcoming staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on evening food but my full English breakfast was lovely. Only very minor downside is the lack of on site customer parking but I used a local car park across the road which was free overnight and reasonable rates at other times. Would come back again"

"Very run down and the red gory painting on the bedroom walls made it feel so uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. Bed was hard and just overall disappointing "

Slightly more expensive than others but when you factor in transfer costs & convenience it a no brainer "

"The room was large with comfortable king size bed. Excellent power bower. Good amenities of bucuuts tea and coffee and hot chocolate and two little bars of high quality chocolate."

"The room was really clean. Bath was updated and loved the towel warmer. The rooms could use an update, down-side was is was really dark. More lamps or brighter bulbs would be appreciated. The dining area has great food, we had a dinner and two breakfasts. The full English was more than my husband could eat. All in all a delightful stay. "

"Hotel is not exactly at the airport (but the closest option). Walking around 10-15min. Has shuttle but infrequent."

"The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...
