Satsriakal! My husband una from Punjab, India, and I am Colombian. We brought our 3 daughters and my parents in law, and we all loved it. Mr. Ítalo and his wife were attentive with every detail, the owners. They have been to India a lot, they showed us the turtle pets they have and the beautiful garden, my father in law used the gym, they showed us the amazing spa, the pizza was delicious, the breakfast excellent, the staff attentive, the place very nice, the girls enjoyed the pools and we relaxed in the jacuzzi (could have been a little warmer though). Seeing nature was great, maybe out more fruit around for the birds to come. It is a place with beautiful energy and luxurious too. The owners make the difference, Mr. Ítalo, thank you for being so nice to our kids, your jokes were sweet. We will see you again soon!

Gran Opción cerca de Barichara

Bello hotel, ubicado 5 minutos en coche, antes de llegar a Barichara, por la via que conduce de San Gil a Barichara. Habitaciones amplias y limpias, con buenas ventanas e iluminación natural. En las noches, la iluminación de la habitación es bastante deficiente. Las habitaciones no cuentan con minibar, ni agua de cortesía, sin embargo el shampoo y jabón tienen un aroma excelente. El desayuno es muy completo, y el personal es muy amable. El hotel cuenta con una piscina y tres jacuzzis, que se pueden usar sin costo adicional. Adicionalmente, cuenta con un spa muy agradable, en el cual hay servicio de masajes (buenísimo), sauna (usualmente apagado), turco (buenísimo) y una piscina de hidroterapia excelente. Todo esto de pago. El hotel se presta para realizar caminatas a los pueblos vecinos de Villanueva y Barichara. Hotel muy recomendable.

Splendid location but patience required

Very nice hotel with a pool and SPA 4km from Barichara centre. The hotel is located in a nice, green valley before the village, which can be reached easily with tuk-tuk in few minutes. Restaurant in the premises is average/low quality. Wif-fi connection unfortunately terrible and almost absent by the pool (very common in Colombia). Nevertheless, it was accessible in the lobby. Staff was nice and gentle but created a bit of confusion with the final bill, mixing the expenses of different rooms.

We had a suite upstairs. It was nice, but with no a/c was a little warm in the room. Windows are not adjustable, either open all the way, or closed. Not open juat a little. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was great. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Location was good. About 5 - 10 min drive to Barichara. Breakfast was good.

Realmente "hotel boutique y spa" ... precioso !

Es difícil encontrar hoteles donde se cuiden todos los detalles. La decoración es impecable y con mucho gusto. Italo es el mejor anfitrión ... Te hace sentir como en casa. El spa tiene un concepto oriental tanto en su diseño como en su servicio. Es único y fuera de lo tradicional. El servicio de restaurante es excelente... Una carta de comida italiana y mediterránea con productos exclusivos y muy bien elaborados. Y lo mejor de todo: rodeado de un paisaje precioso ... lejos del ruido y cerca del pueblo más lindo de Colombia "Barichara". Sin duda volveré !!!
