A wonderful stay

We had a great stay in this hotel. The layout is great. The rooms are filled with a feeling of history. The pool is lovely. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very short walk and you are in the central square of one of the most beautiful towns in Latin America. What more could you want. A quick thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. Until next time. Muchas gracias.

Misión Santa Bárbara es uno de los hoteles más antiguos de Barichara y es algo que queda en evidencia. Las camas son cómodas, los baños cumplen su función y se puede dormir bien. Sin embargo, la dotación de las habitaciones necesita un poco de actualización. La luz es blanca lo que les da un ambiente lúgubre. Pero la mayor deficiencia fue en el servicio de desayuno. Los meseros, uno en particular, eran inexpertos, careciendo del más básico conocimiento de cómo servir una mesa. Se paraba detrás del comensal, no al frente, para tomar la orden. No sabía que se sirve por la derecha y se retira por la izquierda. No conocía la colocación correcta de los cubiertos. Nunca falló en derramar el café al momento de servirlo, etc., etc.
