"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at โCasabellaโ. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didnโt need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"My wife and I randomly booked this accommodation as we were looking for a place in the country side close to both Firenze and Bologna - and it was great! The place is in a remote but stunning location and the room was very clean! The hosts were so kind and friendly, giving us hugs and local recommendations which we appreciated. It is a lovely place to stay if you want to be in peaceful and quiet place but want to be around an hour drive away from bigger cities. The breakfast was also lovely. Just some things to keep in mind. This place is on a farm with lots of horses, dogs and chickens so if you are allergic it might not be an ideal place. I have allergies but the room was so clean I didn't get any reaction though! The room itself we stayed in was beautiful and clean but didn't have any kettle or mini-fridge which would have been nice to have. There is a communal fridge you can use though. Overall a great experience and would recommend."

"The page on Hotels.com stated the property offered a shuttle to the Florence airport. The hotel DOES NOT have a shuttle. The staff was available to request a taxi which was on time very early am. About 30 โฌ for the ride. We left before the breakfast started. The pool was very nice."
