The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). "It was a great stay, nice facilities and amazing staff. The only reason I wouldn't say 5 is: - check in was delayed by an hour or so. - there was no spatula. - the hob fan and light didn't work - the microwave defrost was more like full power. - I didn't know what to do with the bins. Maybe I missed this somewhere. Would stay again"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach hotel - we had 2 rooms, the Lee Bay(Deluxe) and North Hill (superior) for 3 nights. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, my parents were really impressed with North Hill given its size & amazing sea view, the separate bath tub in the room was classy. Location is excellent, we went across the road to enjoy the West Somerset railway for a day, and walked the other way down The Avenue where there are plenty of shops & restaurants easily reachable. A fresh-cooked full English was lovely to start the day(one of several options, there was also an onlette which my Dad enjoyed). There's a bar & cafe with plenty of seating inside & outside. All the staff were really friendly and keen to make sure we had a good stay, which we did. Would definitely visit again!"
