"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"A great spot to stay before travelling from the Halifax airport. Extended parking is easy to access and the shuttle to the airport was effecient. The hotel itself could use a facelift as it is starting to look weathered and dated. Overall, it was quiet and comfortable, so we will definitely stay again."

"Woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse running up my chest. This place is kind of infested with mice - they’re in the common room, in multiple dorm rooms so switching rooms isn’t even a viable option, and they seem to travel through tunnels in the walls, leaving scratching noises all night and droppings everywhere. There doesn’t seem to be anything that can be done by them - the front desk just gave me some dryer sheets and said the smell repels them apparently. The kitchen is also near...

"Property was very clean. Walking distance to great restaurants and coffee shops. Staff was great at making contact with me and letting me know about construction in the area well before I arrive, so I was prepared. Had no issues at all with my stay."

"More than we expected. A hot tub and a patio just outside our room so we could have lunch in a sheltered sunny spot. Coffee, muffins and yogurt were available free. The restaurant was not open Monday or Tuesday. A very rural location. Shopping or restaurants were a min 15 minute highway drive away. Sometimes we got stuck on the wrong freeway."
