"Was very grateful to all the receptionists that I spoke to, who gave really helpful service - I wanted to have a room not too far into the forest as I was on my own and also would be on foot but the road for the lodges is for car traffic. "Pleasantly surprised. Paul was very welcoming & friendly. He gave us advice on taxis and where to go (taxi less than £7 to first direct arena - dont get uber!). Hotel dated but really nice. Breakfast was lovely with enough choice. Room good, bed a bit too soft for me. The fan was a welcome addition as it got hot overnight and the quilt is very warm.
