"We arrived late. The lobby was busy. I later learned they were training new staff. We paid for a king bedroom and was given a queen bedroom. When we turned the sheets, we found a very big stain. They moved us and offered some snacks. We said no. We spoke to the manager the next morning. It was a nice conversation. "No internet connection during the 2 days there. The hairdryer had been replaced due to the original didn't work. The noise from the construction that started at 3am in the morning woke everyone up and stayed going well into the morning. Concrete trucks lining up and preparing to unload for hours 6 or 7 at a time with engines running and backup alarms going. Once stopped the air brakes were always going off as one truck would get done another would replace it as more kept coming."

"Hands down, the place to stay when in Carson City. Absolutely Best Experience. We were able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms, we were impressed and very happy during our stay.! Will be returning in Summer!"

"No one was at the front desk. Had to ring the bell and wait a bit. My son wanted milk for his cereal in the morning that you have to get from staff and no one ever answered the bell when he rang it. The continental breakfast to me wasn’t really anything, legit dry cereal and an apple. We enjoyed the fact the building was older but things were very dated. If you want just a quick one night this place would be good but do not have high expectations for it."

"My experience was good, the room was fairly clean there was some dusty areas along with some hair and debri in the bathroom. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. There was no scrambled eggs or milk. Those are basic breakfast items. The orange juice machine was out of order. The fruit seemed old (apples,oranges), the only fresh fruit was the cantaloupe. Overall our stay was good. Everything is new and modern."

"The stay was very good. The lodge was well done. It's a renovated 70s building. We had some miscommunication from Expedia to the lodge though. I would recommend booking through them directly. The lodge honored the room but there at only one left so I could've been very unlucky if they weren't so gracious. The staff was very helpful. The pool is pretty cool even though it's heated. "Excellent location, a beautiful setting with great amenities and access to everything Incline Village and Lake Tahoe has to offer. To pick one fault however, it was the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms and properties. Upon arrival, we found food crumbs and popcorn on the bedroom floor. We had a 6 night stay and did not receive housekeeping one time - we had to visit the front desk to request additional toilet paper and fresh towels (family of 5). "The Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and other amenities were great. However, the very best part was the staff, who were ALL exceptional-plus!! It was truly remarkable how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff members were. We even found the exceptionally friendly service in many of the other venues that we visited nearby. A fabulous few days in North Lake Tahoe that we plan to experience again."
