Room was nice, cleaning staff excellent but the amenities were lacking for a 4 star rated hotel. The Shangri-La Bangkok is a lovely hotel with loads of old-fashioned charm. But there are little things that make it less than perfect. In our day and age, instant coffee in a five-star hotel room is just not acceptable. I had a coffee machine in a three-star in Krabi. Also, it was impossible to ...

9.6/10 Exceptional! (433 reviews)
Hotel was excellent, breakfast buffet was 10/10 and easy place to get a grab or taxi. Only complaint is 3 days in a row we had the “do not disturb” button on and while we were trying to nap the housekeeping would call to ask if we wanted a clean, disturbing us from our naps. Enjoyed a morning at the famous RBSC. This club has everything and is situated in the new heart of Bangkok. If you get the opportunity, do visit. They have a horse racing track and have events open to the public. If you are a tennis fan they have the only grass tennis courts in the city. It is amazing how much space this property takes up in the heart of the city. #architecture
