Hotel Kembara di Bandar Zanzibar

"A wonderful stay in the heart of Stone Town! We stayed at Emerson Spice during our trip to Zanzibar and what a fantastic place it is! The hotel is full of character, with beautiful traditional architecture and a real sense of Zanzibar’s history. It’s completely different from your typical hotel, which is exactly what makes it so special. The location is brilliant for exploring Stone Town, with everything within easy walking distance. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, and staying here...

"My room was spotless. I liked the old wooden style with with excellent (silent) aircon. Nice location, and greatto have the coffee shop on the ground level. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooftop breakfasts were tasty and filling."

"The service at the Neela was unparalleled. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, but never fawning or in the way. Make sure to visit not only their downstairs cafe, but also their rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend."

"Breakfast was nice. This hotel is near the sights in Stone Town. Walk through the narrow shopping streets to the slave market in just a few minutes. Freddie Mercury residence is just around the corner from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, although I did have to ask 4 times to get the TV working."

"Les déjeuners sont ordinaires pour le prix cependant le souper super et les happy hours aussi"

"Lovely stay at the Mizingani Seafront. Extremely helpful and attentive staff, clean/comfortable rooms and a nice quiet pool area"

"Not too far from Stonetown. Good for value. Construction next door made balcony view undesirable. Overall would stay again."

Kholle House is full of character and history, with beautiful traditional architecture, unique rooms and an atmosphere that feels distinctly Zanzibar. It's a refreshing change from a conventional hotel and adds to the experience of staying in historic Stone Town. One of my favourite spots was the rooftop...

"Family owned, very friendly and welcoming. Zanzibar style decoration. Feeling like you are someone home. Good Breakfast."

"Nice location with only steps to the water front, restaurants, boats to prison island and the Freddie Mercury museum. Breakfast was lovely and staff super friendly and helpful."

"Air conditioning work great and the hotel is in a great location"
