"We stayed in the garden apartment for 4 nights. Absolutely fantastic and ideal for a couple on a short break. Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here and in the locale generally. Pauline and Anthony were great hosts, ensuring all we needed was there. A lovely location - 10 minute walk down to the Harbour and some great restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area. "

"Modern B&B in a history house. The room was large enough with a comfy bed, modern bathroom/shower, and a mini fridge available. Reasonable walking distance to the restaurants, waterfront in Torquay. "

"The owners were fab with regard me having a well behave 12 week old pup, as let down by the kennel , their own dog was sociable, the breakfast was good , and the housekeeping was also excellent. Good value for money . "

"The hotel is very well appointed. Very to close to the beach, buses and railway station. It is however located on a short, but steep hill, that we feel is not suited for those persons with mobility constraints, as there are no lifts. Whilst the owner and staff are very accommodating, apart from a very substantial breakfast, there were no other meals available - due to a shortage of staff. But that is everywhere now. "Really liked how the family rooms were separate bedrooms. The rooms were nice n the location of the hotel was good n did have parking available. Only complaint was our room wasn’t ready n we were hanging about a while to find a big horrible yellow stain on carpet. We were told family before us had been sick which can’t be helped but was still a bit grim n couldn’t move rooms n just got a sorry. Other than that pool was nice, didn’t do breakfast as thought too expensive n all the staff were nice....
