"This was located right off the interstate and easily to find. No elevator and our suite was on the second floor with outdoor stairs. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Initially the hostess told us our hotel room was smoking even though the description on hotels.com said non smoking so we went to look at it before paying to see. Glad that there wasnt smoke smell so they must have cleaned it well. Beds were comfortable and it was relatively quiet. Small bathroom but again not an issie...
"Basswood is a very family friendly resort with so many activities. The staff is attentive and friendly. The general store is perfect for those needing supplies. Their pizza shop makes delicious food. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked for next year and are going to stay longer!"
"We had a GREAT time as this hotel while in town. The location along the river is simply amazing. There’s a paved trail along the riverbank and super close to downtown KC. Would most definitely stay here again while there. "
"Parking isn't easy, no onsite parking. Valet parking is $40 or park it yourself in a nearby parking garage for $20.

"The motel was clean, our room was spacious and very quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only downfall is the breakfast is not included. We had to use valet parking because there are not many places to safely park in the area. The valet were helpful and got our car to us quickly. We would stay there again."
