"The window in the room couldnt be opened, so the room was quite hot. The window was dirty. Otherwise I liked the accommodation. There was nowhere to have a tea or coffee when I arrived and I couldn't check in until three o'clock"
"Food was lovely, staff were helpful, rooms were great. Only thing was l wish I was informed about the talk of the coast, having strobe lighting. Husband suffers from epilepsy, so l wish it had been mentioned at the beginning of the show in the break segment. Luckily we were at the back, and after the first encounter we had to leave Also states on the tickets 7pm start., In hotel states 8.30 start. So if you do not stay at the hotel, you could be in for a wait until it starts."
"Really good stay. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Paid for some balloons in the room for my partners birthday and they added banners as well as a bottle of bubbly and a card within the extra money I paid which was a nice touch!
Location is really good too and they do have entertainment in the evening (although we didn’t watch it ourselves). Loved that there was a proper cooling fan machine in the room as we stayed during the heat wave. You could also get ice to add to it.
Only downside was that the cleaners store cupboard was outside our bedroom so we could hear them getting things opening the doors etc in the morning. There were also some noisy children running around the 2nd morning but that isn’t the hotels fault and we did stay during the 6 weeks."
"As regular visitors to the Imperial Hotel we thought that this was an Inferior room to what we have had in the past,
1 no safe 2 Window did not have an opening on a hot day for fresh air so always steamed up 3 My wife fell out of the bed during the night because the mattress was larger than the base and sloped over the edge off base 4 The hand Gel in the bathroom had no Lather as it looked to be diluted like water.
When we reported the above to Ricky on Reception he said that the room 238 was one of the better rooms. Also not amused by the Parking charge of £14.00 per night which I found Extortionate from past stays. We came away not Happy Bunnies"
