"Love the hotel and staff and would still go.but the hotel needs money injecting in it.rooms are comfortable and in fact they have upgraded the kettle to coffee machine and pods which was lovely.however my room was not ready when i arrived.check in is supposed to be 3pm and i had to sit and wait till 4.15 before housekeeping had made up my room.then when I got to the room the bed was still not made up so i had go looking for someone to change bedding and finish my room.i also have a favourite room I ask for when making the booking in advance but this time they said it wasn’t available and put me in a disability room.as i only go overnight these things have a big impact on my stay.there were tablets on the floor and all sorts of tablets, debris and dust under the bed.like I say lovely hotel but obviously need invest more money in staff and property"
"Good hotel, friendly staff, excellent location good value for a seafront hotel, had an issue with the shower in our room but was dealt with by the staff . Will definitely be staying there again in the not too distant future"
"Decent hotel, ideally located, great food and friendly staff. Despite a lift, there was still some steps to our room, so if you have someone who struggles, then check accessibility before booking."
"This hotel is clean and very well run, the staff cant do enough for you within reason.
Totally cashless hotel.
It is basic but all you want is a clean bed and a working shower and for the price then its value for money.
The down side is the entrance appearance is run down and appalling, Missing tiles and what I would describe has dangerous steps.
Massive bar area and concert room. All closed ?
Room in need of desperate repair, TV, no channels available, Shower worked well but the shower head holder was broken and dropping off the wall.
Chest of drawers and cupboard was falling apart, though the beds were comfortable.
Tea, coffee, clean towels all available.
The potential is enormous however I don't think the clients help. You can see a lot of deliberate damage from clients that was attempted to be fixed."
"i thought it was all good , deco , to rooms , staff , pools , only thing i didn’t know it was scottish holidays so lots of kids there and wanted a peace break , so only stayed one night"
"We had a really nice stay. The staff were great and the room was clean. We don't usually like buffet style breakfast but the breakfast was fresh and very tasty. The only downside was the building is very tired and in need yalot of work doing. However, we would happily stay again."
