"The hotel is well-suited for the small town in which it is located. However, it's worth noting that the property does not have an elevator or a laundry room. Additionally, the guest rooms do not include microwaves. If you need to heat up food, you'll need to contact the front desk, and a staff member will warm it for you. The hill leading to the hotel is extremely steep, and I wish it were a bit safer to travel up and down"

"The Lodge was beautiful and well-staffed and maintained. Unexpected for a State Park. The restaurant, Cascades, was also over-the-top good. All the staff were courteous and helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Also the mountain park is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the Lodge is breathtaking!"

We were given a handicap room and the shower was a little run down and off color. No conditioner or lotion bottles, only a bar soap, with no holder for the soap, and a shampoo bottle. "All the staff we met were great. From the very sweet lady at the front desk when we checked in (gave us some cupcakes), the lady and gentlemen that cleaned up my mess when I spilled a cup of coffee and the maintenance man that brought us a luggage rack and got our room changed when the air conditioner wouldn't work. All were super!"

"Hotel is conveniently located in the technology corridor. The interior is quite dated. Walking down the hall to my room it was clear there was little to no air circulation, along with very dated carpet wrinkling up. The carpet should be replaced as it poses a trip hazard. Once I got into my room, it was clean although it had a bit of a musty smell and was quite warm, again with no air circulating. Once I turned on the air conditioner it didn't seem quite as muggy, but still not a fan of that old...
