"Wonderful stay after a day at Farmer Copleys (which is literally a minute away by car). We stayed in one of the bungalows which was brilliant, very clean and lovely little balcony which we would have sat out on but the weather was a little bit rainy. Room was quite warm with lovely underfloor heating, I struggled slightly as I like to sleep in a room that feels like the arctic but they provide a big fan that was perfect. "Parking at an extra charge, with no signage to show the cost. On arrival staff to a while to show up and check us in. The check out staff were instantly on hand though, checked we were happy with everything. Only one chair in the room, for two people."

"An enjoyable one night stay at a hotel where the positive features far outweigh any minor niggles. Attentive and pleasant staff, excellent food, well presented and served in a timely manner. Rooms just bordering on the need for some love and attention, although White Stuff toiletries do a good job in diverting attention from the nasty stain on one of the seats. Decent enough spa facilities, although it would be helpful if the price to swim were included in the booking price."

"Easy check in procedure door code gets you into the building and room. Spacious room with modern kitchen and bathroom, well stocked tea/coffee etc and good hot water supply. Warm rooms and well stocked towels and bedding , only drawback is due to its location you get some noise and guests turning up at stupid o'clock in the morning. On the whole if you can get this for a good price its well worth it "

"Hadn't read reviews till the night prior to arrival. Wish we had. Room wasn't clean, carpets badly stained, didn't take shoes off. Food / unknown substance all over the picture on the wall. Sealant hanging off and mouldy at base of shower. Poor maintenance regards filling of holes on the desk. The fridge had been removed from its housing and left on the floor. Mouldy smell in the dowstairs bedroom corridor. Also read that the '4 STAR' hotel only has a 3 star food hygine rating !!!!!. So even...

"The property is a little dated, the curtain and carpet was rugged over in the main house. The mattress was hard and didn't feel like a 4 star property. The steak was also not great for the price. The stay is a premium rate and good for a one off, but wouldn't rush back unless there is some renovation. "

"This was the perfect spot for a catch up with friends and visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The accommodation was similar to Premier Inn styling - clean, lovely big bed and practical bathroom. The room had a TV, plenty of sockets, wall heater, free wifi and iron / hairdyer / fan available for use. Plenty of storage space too. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the food choices for evening meal and breakfast were good. The drinks and food were also reasonably priced....
