"We enjoyed our stay at Newcastle Arms hotel plenty parking space, nice room compact but adequate ,very clean , plenty of tea and coffee amenities.breakfast was excellent so much choice and the black pudding was second to none, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a reasonably priced break."

I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. "There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"We loved this place. The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. We at dinner (which we planned when arrived) and did the breakfast in the morning. Nobody left hungry! The restaurant was downstairs and although they have a pub/bar, it closes at about 10 pm; we weren't able to get a drink after dinner due to the timing. We would definitely come back again."
