Central location. Restaurant attached. A/C kept turning off. Shower was decent. No window to open was a disappointment. Kind of awkward finding your way around the building at first. Lots of stairs. Wheelchair wouldn't be advisable.

I was assigned a room in their new building. Nice and clean obviously. Some rooms at their new botton floor are right on the parking lot or the sidewalk, not much intimate. That is the only negative point.

Second time at the Grand

Our second visit to the Grand, the place is ok a little old and the bathrooms are very small but the bar and restaurant are very convenient which is more our priority. Comfortable beds, clean rooms.

Fantastic stay

Such a pleasant change from motels. Old style but renvated with all modern features you need. Our room was huge with classic wood panel and a cozy but comfortable bathroom. Both fridge and microwave plus coffee maker. Friendly and helpful and fully bilingual front desk staff. Quick checkin and out. Great restaurant on site. I would not consider any other place to stay in Baie Comeau, and all at a very reasonable price.

No elevator, restaurant was closed for the first half of my visit, and we lost power from 8:30pm to 5:30am my second night there. No emergency lighting in rooms or corridors. That being said, room was big, cozy, well stocked. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms was quite spacious, having two separate rooms for the two beds was kinda fun! Although having the bathroom being only near one bed is a bit annoying for the other people we were with, but other than that the beds were very comfortable, the comforter was actually fluffy, and not just a sheet of paper, and the pillows were soft and cozy. The ambiance was so nice, and I loved the bricks in the rooms, such a different and cozy vibes. I don't go in that area often, but now I want to just so I can go to this hotel again. The price was extremely reasonable for what you get. I definitely recommend this place for a nice quick stay or a longer one!

This properry is lovely. The rooms are huge and seems newly renovated. I was on the lowest level in the 100s. The restaurant looked beautiful but we didnt eat there. The ownly downfall is parking is limited at the hotel. We lucked out with a spot right at our entrance but if not then we would have had to park somewhere near by not at the hotel

I have stayed here more than once I could say from july to 2025 to january 2026 6 times aready and still I'm considering it as my place to transit. This time, communication at the front desk felt abrupt. When calling from my room to report smoking in the corridor, the call was disconnected once and the follow-up interaction fel rushed. The issue was addressed, but the guest experiencce would benefit from more attentive communication. The room was perfect and I rested, except when the smell of smoke was getting into my bedroom.

We stayed in the annex which is a new section. We had difficulty getting parking as the road was closed for either a pedestrian mall or some kind of festival, so we had a way to lug all of our belongings. The annex is beautiful and new and even smells like fresh paint. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've been in. The AC was perfectly cold! The linens were clean and crisp. One thing I did notice with the bed was there was no mattress cover, just the sheet over the mattress, you could see the mattress pattern theough the sheet. Although its all 'accessible' a lot of the doors don't sit right in the door frames and require a firm push to close. Overall very clean, fresh, and a wonderful night's sleep in the annex.
