Amazing views, right above the gorgeous Duoro River. Fabulous staff, breakfast delivered to room each morning. Location is a bit remote, requiring driving crazy mountain roads to get anywhere….but worth it!

Friendly welcome. Our bungalow had a balcony with a lovely view of the river. Delicious breakfast delivered to our room in the mornings. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. A fabulous place to stay.

Amazing Stay!

Great place to stay! Starting from the staff that were really nice and welcoming. Perfect size room with small kitchen, and balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Douro River. Breakfast is delicious and served in your room. I highly recommend to stay at Portovella Lodges and Bungalows when visiting this part of Douro Valley!

Very relaxing stay.

This property is really well managed and cared for. The view from the bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and made the stay very special. Breakfast is delivered daily and was very good. Beautiful property with amazing views

Beautiful property with breathtaking views at the west entrance to Duro valley . We stayed in the family suite with 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchen which was very convenient and large. Citrus trees on the property were blooming and the fresh scent was amazing. Fresh Breakfast was delivered to the unit. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice and modern accommodation, close to the river, you can see the river from your bed and balcony A super breakfast basket will be brought to your room. As there is no bar or breakfast room you will be on your own, not really a place to get in touch with other travelers. Next supermarket and restaurants are far away (20 minutes), there is no promenade with bars or a village center. However we enjoyed 2 nights relaxing on our own.

What an amazing place, with a magnificent view. Friendly and welcoming personnel. Breakfast was very good and served in the room - bread still warm. This is highly recommended.
