"We only came to this hotel for the pool just to find out it was closed. 4 hour drive for nothing. Couldn’t get a refund. The area is so scary. Everything is abandoned around. The buildings had the windows shot out. definitely didn’t leave the room until it was time for us to go home"

"The description on Expedia said there was a pool. There was no pool. We didn't see it. Breakfast was not good. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything from the rooms next to us and the rooms above. This made for a sleepless night. The light over the bed was out. The bathroom door did not close all the way. The sign inside the door still said Red Roof Inn, though it is not any more. The sign outside said to wear masks and practice social distancing, a remnant from the Covid pandemic...

"The property is well kept. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had to change our room on the first night due to the TV going out. Was able to move right next door, which made it very convenient. We forgot about the indoor pool (and found it was heated), so didn't get a chance to take advantage of that added perk. "Two things I look for when booking a hotel. Free parking and breakfast. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Two cereal choices and a broken juice machine. "

"This was my first time visiting Ohio and I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The room was incredible, spacious and had everything I needed. It’s a short drive to Westlake for shopping and additional food options. It’s quiet and close to the interstate but not so close that you can hear traffic. "Check in was easy. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint would be is that they don’t have enough staffing. We had a small roll of toilet paper in our room when we checked in. Asked the front desk for more. We had to go to the front desk to get it. Also their snack store was not staffed. Had to purchase through the front desk. Nobody there to help. Other than that…nice and comfortable hotel. "

"Facility is nice, but there isn't much nearby except for a McDonald's. However, a 10 min. drive away is Avon Commons with a variety of food and shopping options. The biggest drawback is that the road access to the hotel is blocked at rush hour by drivers coming from the Avon Commons area who are trying to get on the freeway."
