"Booked on a last minute whim for a trip to the theatre in Aylesbury. Fantastic place - super friendly staff, high quality accommodation with a few extra nice touches on top. The breakfast was genuinely amongst the very best I’ve ever been served. Highly recommended place to stay."

"The hotel is like an ex council block, not very visually appealing but has a nice reception area once inside. We were overcharged by £100 and the manager says it was for dinner that we never had. We were never told about dinner and dinner was definitely not booked for us. We were told that we had a premium room with extra space; all I can say is I would hate to think what it would have been in a normal sized room, they must have been tiny. "Aanrader. Een leuk huis met voldoende voorzieningen en een fijne serre vanwaar je uitkijkt over de gloeiende heuvels. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk. Enig minpunt was voor ons het bed. Dat vonden wij niet zo comfortabel (erg kort en erg zacht), maar dit hoeft uiteraard niet voor iedereen een probleem te zijn. "

"Nice looking old building, full of character in keeping with surroundings, however the downside to this was poor internal layout. There was a (small) lift but even with a lift we still had few steps up & down to get to our room so not a problem for us but less abled/non ambient may not have been able to enjoy their stay.
