"Carus Hotel is truly spectacular. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Everything feels premium—from the incredibly comfortable bed and pillows to the coffee and all the amenities provided in the room.
The breakfast is simply delicious, with excellent quality and a great variety of options. The staff deserves special recognition: every single person was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional.
One of the highlights is the indoor cave pool and spa area. It is a unique and relaxing experience that you shouldn't miss.
I stayed in Room 17 with a terrace, and I highly recommend it. The terrace is huge, and the room itself was perfect in every way.
The only aspect that didn't match the hotel's otherwise exceptional standard was the quality of the bathroom toiletries. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner felt quite basic and below what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Other than that, everything was outstanding. A true 10/10 experience, and I would happily stay here again."
"Our family had a great stay in the cave hotel. Great location and awesome views of the hot air balloons at sunrise. The Buffett breakfast was fantastic and the staff (host Deniz and cook: Meryem) made the great start to the days with wonderful variety of local food!!
The front desk also had available excursions and very helpful.
We had a great time at the hotel and surrounding area."
"Great and gorgeous place to stay! From the terrace your facing old city of Orthahisar and the "Castle", super view, specially nite time. Great manager, employees and the both ladies who cook and do housekeeping, serving a great Turkish breakfast. Rooms are great and great experience. Only issues, you need to be ready to do some cardio, due to a stiff road to go to center city!"
"I stayed in the “Kings Ego” suite. Amazing experience! It’s like staying in a 2 level gothic museum. The artwork and furnishings are legendary! The whole theme is based on Dante’s Divine Comedy with heaven and hell themed artwork. The blood colored pool is just amazing, just ask the staff to light the candles and it’s just like the pictures! Definitely a must stay! Memorable experience for the value!"
"Aza was fantastic!! I would recommend this place anyone! Staff was great as well! Having a pool was great but it was COLD and we were here in July, but still went in to freshen up. Views were great and you had access to Sultan Cave Suite to see the hot air balloon on their terrace, just like a 2 min walk."
"This property is so beautiful! Wish we'd had more time to just relax on the terrace and sit in all the nice viewing spots. The cave/rocky ambiance was so nice, and we were located close to town with lots of nice food options. Would highly recommend!"
