I took this last year at Lady Bird Johnson Wild Flower Center. These things are so flighty (no pun intended). They never stay in one place too long. You can also get pics of lots of caterpillars! They also have great cacti to take shots of. The macro of those are amazing! In January LBJ Wildflower Center is open for free on the weekends, normally there is a small fee to get in. They have a gift shop, a cafe and events! Always another great place to visit when in Austin! Taken with iPhone 5 and edited with Aperture.
In the spirit of the holidays, the LBJ wildflower center hosts an event called Luminations where they line their gardens with hundreds of lights & open it up to the public to explore at night. ✨
The San Antonio Tower at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. It was donated to the center by Lady Bird's friends and fans from San Antonio, Texas. You can walk a spiral stone staircase to the top. #architecture
