Overall it was fine for what I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean but shower had a lot of mold. There was a nonslip mat on floor of tub that was completely covered in mold on the underside.

Location is not enough, particularly good part of Athens, but not terrible. There were no rooms available in downtown Athens near the university of Georgia therefore, we picked this hotel. Staff were incredibly nice and location acceptable even if it was on the same block as fireworks store, gun store, liquor store, and what appeared to be some kind of marijuana related store. Unfortunately, the room was mostly clean but in poor overall condition and the grout in the bathtub was very moldy. Considering the quality of the property and the location, the room felt rather overpriced at $250

The property was nice, for what we were there for, only 1 night, it was cool. My boys enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was really good, especially the scrambled eggs and cheese! Our room was clean, the tub could have been cleaner but I kept in mind the hotel is old. The air conditioning kept cutting off and I kept having to turn it down so it will come on. The only complaint I have, it was around 12:30am, I kept hearing a LOUD piping sound. I called the front desk, I had to use my cell phone because the phone that's in the room wasn't hooked up. I spoke to the lady at the front desk, she wasn't to eager to help but she did say that it was probably the air conditioning outside of the building. Our room was 200 which was at the end of the building so that's probably why I was hearing the loud noise. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We would book again.

During our stay, the employees at the desk were polite and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. We had two problems: 1- only one outlet worked in the room and that is a big problem when you have several electronics that need charging. NEITHER if the two outlets by the bed worked. 2- the AC did not work properly in the room. We were HOT all night long. I reported both issues to the front desk upon checkout and the staff was super friendly and very apologetic.
