"stayed here many years ago and decided to return for a pre-cruise stay. Construction going on took away the aesthetics at the pool but that didn't bother us."

"The room we stayed in was in need of many minor repairs simple to fix, but still needs to be done. Absolutely no door sweep keeping any bugs out of the room from outside. I could see daylight under the main door. I could hear my neighbors beside me behind me, and definitely above me, could hear every step the person above me made through the ceiling. for what we got It was quite overpriced, but is what I had to pay to be able to get a room to see the space launch"

"Really nice staff. The gym was nice, all new gear. They just needed some wipes. The pool and the outdoor bar/ restaurant area is great. There are pool towels out there and there is a variety of seating around the pool like loungers, chairs and double sun beds. There are a couple outdoor games by the pool area as well. Walking distance to a couple restaurants. Great room, nice and spacious. We could see ships coming and going. There is great art all over the hotel, lots of visual interest and texture (some photo-worthy!) The art/ decor suits the location (think space themed). There were some issues with elevators and the stairs didn't seem accessible for guest use. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again."

"We booked this stay expecting a charming, Florida-style boutique experience, but unfortunately, the reality did not match the $287/night price point. While the property has potential, the room we received felt neglected and significantly outdated. The Room: Our experience was marred by maintenance and cleanliness issues. The furniture was eroded, and almost every metal fixture in the bathroom showed signs of rust. Most concerning was the cleanliness; we found dark hair on the shower tiles upon arrival (my family is all light-haired), which suggests the bathroom wasn't properly detailed. Several elements felt stuck in the past, like a "phone flasher" and a built-in tissue dispenser that was left empty. Furthermore, the hand soap and body wash dispensers were broken, and the "2-in-1" soap concept feels quite outdated for a hotel at this tier. The Highlights: On a positive note, the outdoor areas are the saving grace of the property. The lazy river is fantastic, and the kids loved the bean bags, sand area, and provided toys. The evening animated movie was a very "cute" and thoughtful touch for families. Verdict: If you are coming solely for the pool and outdoor atmosphere, you’ll enjoy it. However, until the rooms undergo a significant refresh and housekeeping standards are raised, it's hard to justify the current nightly rate."

"Very contemporary hotel with modern amenities. Staff was very friendly, especially at the rooftop bar. Nice breakfast included with plenty of choices for everyone! Very close to the port for cruise passengers convenience. Would definitely return to this hotel."
