Hotel Dekat Aston-cum-Aughton Leisure Centre

"Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot."

"Super clean very modern and comfy "

"Fantastic Branch of the Hilton Family. One of their best."

"Very pleasant stay! Weather was glorious so we managed to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine! Bedrooms were modern and clean. Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Comfortable and friendly, couldn't fault anything."

"Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay."

"Good facilities and the staff were all polite and helpful."

"Hotel was ok, on site pub was poor"

"The room was great. The restaurant and staff were wonderful."

"I was very disappointed with my stay, particularly with the cleanliness and poor customer service. The sink was plugged shut, and we couldn’t remove the plug. The water contained hair, making it seem as though the sink had not been properly cleaned. When we asked the receptionist for help, they were dismissive and immediately said they couldn’t offer another room. They only came to help after we asked several times. The bigger issue was the extremely loud, squeaky floor above us after 1 am....

"Well located if you need to be near the university, and a decent price for a location with parking and breakfast included."

"Free parking 2 minutes walk Easy access with codes provided in advance. No staff on site, but we had no call for them. Old building with renovated modern touch to the room. Not for people with mobility issues, main staircase winding/step/narrow. Room clean but not thoroughly (dust on sockets) Iron & ironing board provided, plus kettle & tea/coffee/sugar/milk Huge bed, was comfy with nice linen Wardrobe with safe and desk/dressing table and a full length mirror Excellent value for money"

"Great hotel will stay there again for races however I would advise we did have 3 rooms and all 3 were cold even with heating turned up full blast need to sort in these colder months"

"Great room / bed. Parking was an issue on the third night, as there is limited hotel parking. Dinner was excellent on the 1st night. 2nd and 3rd nights, the dinners never arrived after a 45 minute wait."
