Magnificent country stay!

Love this place! The building is beautiful, meticulously restored and very comfortable. Mark is a friendly and accommodating host. The town is lovely and peaceful with some beautiful walks. The kids had a great time at the pool. Breakfast is spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Amazing: Full of Lisa & family’s love & passion

Amazing! Beautiful property with 20years of love developing it into the experience you get today. Jaw dropping bedrooms dripping with original period features but all mod cons, the breakfast room makes you feel like a lord, the pool is warm and has a great atmosphere, the village is suitably quaint with a river running under a medieval bridge and the evening picnic offering is generous, delicious and well served. Lisa and Mark and her kids provide a very relaxed and professional and comfortable and chilled experience. Highly recommend for a few days of complete rustic luxury !

Wonderful holiday at a fabulous place – everything you could wish for: friendly, genuine, helpful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay such a success and such a lovely family who have carefully and thoughtfully restored this absolute gem of a holiday retreat. Gorgeous rooms and beautiful pool too, all in an idyllic location on the banks of a tranquil river in the prettiest village we have visited in France. Been holidaying in France regularly for over 30 years and this was the best yet. Don't hesitate to book it.

What a tremendous place, a beautiful building tastefully decorated, a lovely peaceful swimming pool, a picturesque stream outside. The owners could not have made us feel more welcome and were lovely. We celebrated my daughters 9th birthday there and it was like our princess was in a castle, they even gave her a card. Very special.
