"I was presently surprised by this hotel! I was expecting something rundown and dirty because it is a Comfort Inn. But even though it’s older, it’s extremely well kept! The king size room we had was very big and spacious. Very clean and the staff is very accommodating. I was there with my service dog. 3 minutes by car from downtown Blue Ridge so the location is great as well. And our room had a view of the mountains. Will definitely be back in the future! "

"The property is secluded, but not too far from town. The grounds are beautiful with the flower gardens and scenery. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and just what we were looking for my birthday weekend getaway. We will be back! "

"We were expecting a typical hotel room, but it was more like a small apartment. Kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, bedroom with a very comfortable king sized bed. Nice complimentary breakfast and very accommodating staff."

"The staff were so helpful and gracious. The bed in my original room was elevated as was the bath. They very kindly switched me to a different location so that I could avoid all the up-and-down movement with my knees. This was a great place to visit with dogs. Hiking, sitting by the campfire and resting near the big postcard window were memorable and relaxing ways to pass the time with furry friends. "

"This was a beautiful property on a mountain side. The drive way is fairly steep. They had fresh homemade cookies and thoughts of beverages. The room had its own fridge and microwave. There were thoughtful areas set up with books and places to read. The breakfast was large and very flavorful. We had a fruit & yogurt parfait followed by yeast pancakes, bacon and a homemade orange/cranberry muffin. There was also juice, tea and coffee. There were nice places to sit outside to watch nature. "Property was extremely clean and well appointed. Lovely room and bathroom. Did not like that early Saturday morning we got a call from the front desk tell us the fire alarm in the room was going off. That did not set the tone for a great day. Apparently, it was silent on our end and when I asked if we needed to do anything, we were told no. "
