"It is very cosy hotel in 100+ year old building. No elevators. Very clean. Rooms good, no complains, location is great: by the 'english park' of Bergen and in the University campus area. Love there is a fridge in the rooms for my beer."

"The Det Hanseatiske was a very nice hotel. The room was like a cozy cabin. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location makes for easy walking to all the local areas. I won't fault the hotel but please beware on Saturday night the music from the club next door can be very loud into the late hours of the night. "

"After long trip of Norway in the nutshell from Oslo to Bergen. It was so tired and when we reached Bergen train station, it was raining. The most amazing thing happened that the hotel is just beside the train station, less than a minute walk. The next amazing thing followed that the lovely staff upgraded my room to a brand new family suite. I totally enjoy my two nights stay here."
