"We thought the grounds were spectacular in terms of features and maintenance. However we were less impressed with our room. We were in The Rockford section of the main building in a room that was slightly below ground level. Our first issue was that the room had only one chair. Next, the room was dimly illuminated - two 'arc' lamps over the bed - one each side, and a small desk lamp. Ceiling light in the entry foyer and bathroom were efficient. "I liked everything about the hotel from the ease of checking in to all members of staff. The only issue i had was that I ordered room service one morning and it took an unusual long time to receive the food and when I did receive it the food was cold. Other than that I had an incredible stay."

"I booked a king suite on Expedia. When i arrived at hotel on the day, they only had double bed rooms available. Jayson was at the desk and was not at all helpful. He said that because i booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) then they don’t save the room type that you book. This was not a last minute booking and it was confirmed but he indicated that it was not confirmed by them. I went down to breakfast one day with over an hour left in the time and there was little left and they were not...

"I was very disappointed with my stay. Having to pay extra for parking felt unreasonable, especially considering the room rate. The breakfast was also a letdown—the food lacked variety, wasn't very fresh, and overall the quality was poor. For the price, I expected a much better experience. I wouldn't choose to stay here again."
