It was the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at this lovely property! It was so unique to have stayed in a 400 years old cottage/villa that was renovated with everything you needed and more. It was also a museum with artifacts from many years ago, very special! Not to mention, the AMAZING home made breakfast every day that was served by the most WONDERFUL women, who were always kind, generous and welcoming to all of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! It would be an honour to return to your home, Bom Dia from my family- the Canadians!

A great get away. The hosts were amazing, friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. This is very remote you meed a car and be ready for small village foads. Dinner is in thr next village but dome great options. Breakfast is OUTSTANDING. A excellent selection of local and homemade products.

We loved the European style of sharing a large breakfast table with guests at the property. Learning different cultures and about their home countries Home cooking, fresh baked, vineyards all around. The other guests were amazing people who assisted us with translations as needed. The property keepers were an amazing elderly couple who were kind, happy and loving. It is a small village with stone streets, narrow passages and just so much charm. We had a 2 bedroom stone house that was updated and an amazing. Thank you for such a wonderful stay

A charming house and cottages in a quaint village dating back hundreds of years run by very accommodating staff. The hosts, Cristina and Sonia, are extremely kind, helpful and friendly. ❤️ A generous breakfast is provided, but prospective guests should note that due to the area's remote location, they should arrange to have a car rental to access restaurants and other facilities.

This property is beautiful and the cottage was so charming. Breakfast in the morning was abundant and delicious also! It was difficult to get around the area so highly recommend have a rental car, we learned the hard way with a lot of expensive taxis but luckily the staff helped us to call them.

Tout est parfait dans ce havre de paix superbe gîte construit dans un rocher ce qui lui donne un certain cachet une vue imprenable calme à la campagne on s y sent bien. Les propriétaires sont adorables et aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes c est le meilleur petit déjeuner que nous ayons pris de notre périple de 5 semaines préparé avec des produits frais confitures maison gâteaux faits par l adorable propriétaire on s est sentis accueillis comme si nous étions quelqu'un de la famille. Une adresse à retenir et à conseiller ici tout est calme et bienveillance. Le propriétaire est très érudit et à son contact nous apprenons beaucoup de choses. Bref tout est parfait y compris la situation géographique et l environnement. Encore un grand merci à vous deux nous n oublierons pas votre gentillesse.

Eigenaren vriendelijk, zwembad ligt behoorlijk stuk verderop en betreffende foto is misleidend. Ligstoelen verouderd, sommige stuk, alles stond kris kras door elkaar, veel speelgoed lag in water of de grond. Parkeren op straat was steeds een uitdaging, gezien krappe straatjes en dat er dus geen vaste plek is. Zijn eerder vertrokken. omdat dit alles erg tegenviel

Surpresa super agradável

Primeiro fiquei chateado com o Hotéis.com, pois havia selecionado como destino Pinhão e só depois verifiquei que fui jogado para Armamar. Depois fiquei achando que o GPS estava errado, pois estava me direcionando para um lugar que não tinha nada. Chegamos à noite e confesso que ficamos apreensivos, pois esperávamos encontrar um Hotel, com letreiro grande e recepcionista, mas nada. Tivemos um pouco de dificuldade para encontrar a porta de entrada. Batemos à porta e fomos recebidos por um senhor super simpático. Entramos por uma sala grande e muito bonita. Não parecia hotel e sim ema casa de família. A partir daí começamos a descobrir que não poderíamos ter ficado em lugar melhor no Alto Douro. A região é muito bonita e o hotel é super confortável, bonito e limpo, mas o principal é a forma como somos tratados. Os senhores proprietários são uma simpatia. Tratam-nos como membros da família. Estão sempre dispostos a agradar e conversam sobre variados assuntos, dando dicas de passeios e lugares a serem visitados. A comida é deliciosa e farta. Passamos dois dias maravilhosos em Armamar. Portanto, recomendamos: se for para a região do Alto Douro, hospede-se na Outros tempos e faça as suas refeições lá. Pretendemos voltar.

Great hospitality

We got a separate house all for ourselves, in the middle of wineyards. It is a stone building with gallery , very cozy , private and quite, it was amazing! The highlight of our stay was the great hospitality of the owners and their friends. We felt like their family. We enjoyed a wonderful homemade dinner with tasting local wines . Thank you for the great experience.

Dette var en kjempe opplevelse. Noe av det beste jeg har opplevd. Som navn sier det er noe i fra andre tider. Paret som driver er så utrolig søte og service minded . Frokosten er en opplevelse , lokale oster, egg, forskjellige hjemmelaget kaker som hun eldre dame baker.😋 og alle mulige typer hjemmelaget kompotter, bare for å nevne noe. Alt er reint og veldig komfortabel . Veldig hyggelig folk
