"We recommend this lovely hotel to any traveler, especially couples, who are thinking of spending some luxury time in Montreal. Wonderful service and people. We found Laval quaint and hospitable., just close enough to Montreal to enjoy both cities. Metro is 20 minutes walk from Le St.-Martin and we spent a couple of midnights outside on the McDonalds 24 hour patio. Superb experience."

"This is a complete unmanned/self-service hotel. If you don't have enough strength and persistence to walk up ~40 stairs with 20 kg luggage, don't choose this. Another impressive thing is that the stove top was packed in a box and placed on the top of the microwave (close to the ceiling). So, the only way of cooking in the room is by using microwave, in the perfect-looking kitchen! I understand that cooking with stove top may cause cleaning difficulties, but a great accommodation is not evaluated...

"This is a clean and reasonably comfortable hotel/motel with onsite parking a short subway ride away from the Olympic Park and the Montreal Botanical Garden (and about a 15-min drive away from both). It is a maze of rooms on 2 floors and if you get a room far away from reception and the restaurant be prepared for a labyrinthine walk. The towels were thin, the AC was noisy and breakfast at the onsite restaurant was not really great value for money (neither were the rooms, frankly but then other...

"Hotel Le Coach was a fantastic stay. It is a perfect, central location to all of the main neighborhoods in Montreal (Old Montreal, Le Plateau, The Village, Latin Quarter, etc). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned daily. Staff stays on site until 11pm if you have any issues. I would stay at Hotel le Coach again when returning to Montreal."
