"My main problem was sorted once I reported it, but it was an unusual scenario, I believe, in that my room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The manager was superb in accepting my observations and promised to get the room cleaned by housekeeping the following day whilst I was out (I stayed for 2 nights). "We got an upgrade to much bigger room with two king size beds and waterfront views. Very comfortable. Breakfast was continental but of good quality. Happy with my stay."

We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. "I moved to this hotel because they told me they had a working fan and a view of the sea with adequate sea breeze to cool off the room. The room was extremely warm and the fan did not work very well and I had to stay there for two nights with an extremely warm room also the the hotel is a bit rundown and the carpet in the room had stains."

"Beautiful room, very clean. My only concern was that there was only one double socket for your mobile devices, which meant cycling them to recharge. Perhaps bring an extension lead. Breakfast was good as it had vegan options too."

"Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties.
