"Great place to relax, eat and drink nice wine. The accommodation was unique, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant had an outside terrace with lovely views. The 5 course tasting menu with paired wines was fantastic and the young waiter who served us was humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the wines. The service he gave was exemplary. However, during our 2 night stay we encountered a significant number of other staff who could do with more training regarding service and general...

"A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...
