"I went to a Humboldt 30 years ago and chose to stay at the Hotel Arcata while on a recent college tour visit with our son. "Too many homeless around. Did not feel safe."

"The person that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The room was clean, but the bed mattress was very old and made creaking noises. The bed needs to be replaced. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. "
