Not where it says it is. Not clean. Hidden costs

Avoid if at all possible. The location, though advertised as central Flaine is not Flaine, it is 5-10 minute drive up the hill, requiring a navette bus to ski. This also makes it rather difficult to find on the first day. The hot tub didn't work most of the time and when it did it was tepid at best. The room was dirty, with dirty socks lying around and to top it all off, they tried to charge an 80 euro cleaning fee for a room that wasn't even clean. One strong positive to finish was being able to order croissants and baguettes to be collected each morning from reception.

Poor reception in the property. We arrived at about 10 pm. No reception open. Eventually found an envelope taped to the wall with our room key in it and confusing instructions as to how to find room. On the day we left a couple had been waiting 8 hours to check in. Staff in general vsried fro rude to intolerant. The exception being the delightful ladies providing breakfast. The barman avoided any work at all and showed his real displeasure if you asked anything of him.. On the plus side great views and good apartments but a little isolated especially in the evening

great location for skiing Grand Massif

We used this for 6 days of skiing. Ski access is immediately across the street. One cannot ski back, but a free bus service is available. The staff spoke impeccable English and were always very helpful. There is a pleasant restaurant. Sometimes only a limited menu is available, e.g. one evening only a cheeses fondue with chacuterrie was available. Note that is was excellent.

Belle residence très bonne adresse

Residence de charme et agreable. Belle prestation ( piscine, sauna, hammam, fitness, restaurant) Les appartements sont modernes spacieux et bien équipés (sb dans chaque chambes ainsi que tv, literie de qualité)

Hard mattresses. Poor quality. 10% added to the rate quoted by Expedia for cleaning ( a very large smount!) Rude email from the hotel when we queried it referring us back to expedia. Extra charge for the car park and local taxes. Card machine not working when we checked in ao they came and asked us on Boxing Day ecening to return to reception to oay the car park cost. Dishwasher broke and this was replaced Christmas Day. We wete then asked if we minded if they installed some new cabinets. I dont think customer care is top on this hotels agenda. Lots of hidden costs

Arnaque

On nous fait payer 120 € de frais de préparation de l'appartement pour 2 nuits. La table extérieure n est pas propre. Le lave vaisselle ne fonctionne pas et il y a de la vaisselle dedans, il est débranché a notre arrivée mais aucune indication nous est donnée a l'accueil alors qu'ils sont au courant.

ATTENTION AUX FRAIS CACHÉS, SPÉCIALITÉ D'EXPEDIA !

Le pire du pire est pour la plate-forme Expedia, spécialiste des frais supplémentaires cachés dont in découvre l'étendue à l'arrivée. Détestable. PLUS JAMAIS EXPEDIA !!! Ceci mis à part, je dois à la bienveillance du réceptionniste de l'établissement d'en avoir été averti par un appel la semaine précédente, ce qu'il n'est bien sûr pas supposé faire... En dehors de tout ceci, le Dormio Resort est une belle résidence, très bien placée avec un panorama à couper le souffle. Grand confort et prix très raisonnables hors saison. Seul bémol, forte odeur de vomi dans une des chambres, dont nous n'avions par bonheur pas besoin. Mais 126€ de frais supplémentaires d'entretien non annoncés, ça ternit le bilan...

Un très agréable séjour avec de mauvaises surpris

L'hôtel est trés bien situé. Le logement très propre et bien équipé. Mais, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise de nous voir réclamer 80 euros pour le ménage alors que lors de ma réservation sur Expédia, le prix indiqué était "tout compris". 80 euros pour seulement 2 nuits, C'est beaucoup !!!Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel.

Bit of a let down

The hot tub only had one key that worked & towards the end of our stay the health sure had no hot water so the sauna and steam room did not work. They refused to give us one toilet roll for the last day of our stay so we had to buy a pack of 4 (£3!!). We were then charged an additional £80 for sheets & towels; an expense that we were not warned about in advance!!

Lovely chalet with amazing view

The reception is opened 9-12 and 3-8. We arrived at 12.30 and a member of staff would not store our luggage and there was no access into the building. Fortunately we found someone else who was more customer focused and opened the reception to let us leave luggage. Expedia is not accurate with regards to map location and linen/towel charge, the hotel is not in the centre and we paid €220 for linen and towels for 3 nights however the 4 bed chalet was great with amazing views and lovely reception staff.

Good new facilities with spectacular views.

New facilities, especially the pool and sauna area with great views. Hotel should state service fees clearly, as current pricing is misleading on its own. Overall value fine though.
