"It’s in a very good location, 35 minutes walk from city centre. The host was super helpful as was the cleaning staff. We had two adjoining apartments which gave us a huge amount of space. The building is old and very noisy though, you can hear every time a neighbour opens a tap or flushes the toilet especially at night. The shower flooded the bathroom as the drainage is slow and the door did not seal properly. Bathrooms need a bit of TLC as they feel a little old and I would suggest bigger and...

"The accommodation was more like a hostel than a hotel and thus very much overpriced. Although the room was clean and staff friendly, from chatting to other guests it appeared all the rooms had thin walls (I'd asked for a quiet room but establiahed when I arrived that there wasn't one). Rooms had a cold atmosphere not helped by stark white lighting. Water in basin took ages to flow away. Stayed 2 nights and cups not cleaned in between. Breakfast was in a canteen style room. "Super clean & good housekeeping. Room was a great size & quiet until other guests slammed doors which is not the hotel’s fault. Had breakfast only 1 morning and it was a feast so although on the expensive side, you’ve got plenty of choice. Location is great with the tram a 2min walk, 20mins stroll to one of the entrances of Plaza de Espana, walkable to Cathedral in 30mins. Reception staff were a bit surly but I put that down to a busy feria week & lots of international groups to deal with....

"The room was quite small but clean, very modern and had an apartment feel to it. It was quiet but aircon was a bit confusing to work with. Great breakfast a minute from the Hostal. The bathroom door couldn’t slide all the way shut so hope that could be improved, with a shower door installed as well as water got everywhere without it"

"This is not a 4 star hotel 3 at most! The location is far from the main attractions but close to a shopping mall which is convinient. The hotel rooms arr old and dated. The bathrooms have mould. The air conditioning is old style and didnt really cool the room. The kettle was so old the plastic had melted. There were only 3 lifts so in a morning there was a 5 mins wait for a lift. The pool is seasonal so even though it was 30 degrees out the pool was shut."
