I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala.

Ok but not good

The staff and location were lovely. My room was very dark with no windows except for the noisy courtyard. The floor was so dirty that when I stepped on the white bathmat after being freshly showered and walking around the room left dirty foot prints.

Buen hotel cerca de Ntra Sra de la Merced

Es un hotel muy bonito, excelente ubicacion. No pude probar el desayuno, las camas son muy buenas, la television se resetea y regresa al menu principal. Es raro el tema que tiene ventanas al pasillo principal porque tienes que mantenerlas cerradas o la gente pasa y ve tu habitacion. Como la mayoria de los hoteles de Antigua, no tiene estacionamiento. El baño me consta que era muy limpio, tenia un fresco olor a cloro que no dejaba dudas. Todo ben en general.

A delightful discovery in Antigua

We travel to Guatemala frequently and almost always make a stop in Antigua. Casa Buena Vista is one of the best hotels we've found. We would love to stay again!

Comfortable stay

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The shower was very nice and the place was quiet. The bed was very comfortable for sleeping in. However, the room got hot and stuffy easily and the wifi did not work the best.

Lovely, clean hotel in great location

Very cute hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. Location of property is excellent. The breakfast is lovely and served in a pleasantly decorated room. Towels and sheets were very clean and when we asked for extras, they were quickly provided. The bathroom of our double room had a great shower with plenty of hot water for showers, however, there is very little room to get ready, do your hair,put on make-up etc.. some of the othe rooms do have larger bathrooms. I did miss having a fireplace in our room as this is a common feature in many hotels in Antigua. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again myself.

This hotel was perfectly located in the center of the city. It is a beautiful property. The staff was extremely pleasant. There were always bottles of water in our room. The only downfall was the acoustics. Every conversation was echoed throughout the building. There were couches right outside our bedroom window. When people were hanging out there it was very loud in our room even with the door closed. We were in room 7. Another room would probably be better. The view from the top was exquisite.

Hotel Promedio a Bueno.

Hotel esta nuevo, y en muy buen estado. El hotel es muy limpio, y el servicio de la gente es impecable. El desayuno me encanto. El cuarto es comodo, aunque el baño es demasiado pequeño. No hay donde colocar articulos personales de aseo. El estacionamiento fue una pesadilla ya que nos dirijieron a un lote donde el encargado era sospechoso y no nos dio mucha confianza. Finalmente, la calle en frente del hotel a veces tiene mucho traffico. Aparte de eso, le diera una calificacion promedio al hotel.

Great customer servive, great family feel, perfect location, beautifully decorated. Only drawback is the small bathroom. Also, be aware that windows open to inner courtyard so you do hear noise. Wasn't a problem for us as all the guest were considerate and in their rooms by 10pm
