Just when you think your GPS is taking you in the wrong direction you arrive at this quaint little cottage. Being welcomed by staff , breakfast to order and full of helpful information. Would definitely recommend the beauty and quiet for a chance to relax.

Excellent Stay

A perfect place to stay. Location is right by the side of the solway firth with great views and an array of local birds. The accommodation is of a very high standard and has everything you want. A separate bedroom, bathroom and living room. There is a great range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and they even supply fresh milk daily. When you stay here you are the only guests which gives you the exclusivity and personal touch. Talking of the personal touch, as it was Easter some chocolate rabbits and eggs were left for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The posting was incredibly dishonest. This is a basement. No view, tiny windows above eye level, noise from above late into the night, and stairwell that enters in the middle of the room which leads to the owner's house, I assume into the kitchen given the noise and the constant turning on and off of lights which kept us awake. The pictures show a front porch and the main house, no clear indication you'll be in the basement. If this were posted honestly as a basement unit at a fair price for such it would be a perfectly fine accommodation, but the posting was absolutely misleading and I feel the owners are ripping people off. This was our first vacation after having a baby, and we were incredibly disappointed.

A good relaxing few days. Good facilities, the ideal guest house . Good walks along the beach and Annan close at hand. Judith and Eric were the perfect hosts.
