Beautiful old hotel in a great location right across from the castle and in old town- very walkable. The service was top notch and the views at the restaurant were unbeatable. We had the breakfast included which was a really nice small Turkish breakfast style.

Really unsual old hotel. We arrived quite late and they were very accommodating. They helped us with our currency and brought us a requested bottle of wine. The rooms were huge with beautiful, modern bathrooms. The location is superb. We had only a little time and in the morning we were able to walk the whole Old Town. It's an amazing place. They also arranged transport for us.

Great hotel with a history

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. We love staying in places that have a history. This beautifully renovated hotel turned something very old into something special. Highly recommend.

A jewel of a hotel with top-level attention from manager and staff, both in checking in as well as dining (with very good food at the restaurant). Breakfast was customized from Turkish specialties, but not a buffet. Excellent, lovely room (double deluxe) with large bathroom, complete with two sinks and a bathtub along with a large shower. There was plenty of storage space in both rooms. One can enjoy at any time the museum quality furnishings and collectibles throughout the hotel, which was converted from an historic caravanserei with great care. And there is a fascinating actual museum attached to the hotel. Location is just right, central to the citadel and old town, the Anatolian Museum, as well as the bazaar and main city below.

I stayed for two nights at the hotel, which is opposite the entrance of Ankara Castle and on the top of the hill, with a good view. The hotel is decorated in a unique and antique style, and the staff is very good, so I would recommend it.
