This is a neat little hotel right behind the train station, away from the humdrum, but with everything in town within easy walking distance. A small, but very effective, pleasant, and clean room. Superb breakfast with everything you could possibly need. Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff including front desk, service, and cleaning staff - great, thank you!

This is a high-quality, very efficient hotel within a five-minute walk of the train station and transport hub. It is exactly the opposite of a boutique hotel - nothing quirky (or annoying). Just a quality hotel. A note: Across the pedestrian bridge next to the hotel is a nice little neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery, a small park and a good laundromat. Property is highly recommended.

I would stay again in Novotel Angers Centre Gare if we ever visit in the future. It was a very nice stay, bedroom is clean. Shower floor is a bit tricky, just be mindful with the steps after shower or during shower. The smell after cleaning slightly put off, maybe just needs new cleaning solution. It’s quiet hotel. I loved it. Walking distance to places to eat. I prefer to drive but I didn’t prep for international DL. Otherwise, you love walking, the hotel location is quite strategic! Thank you for pleasant stay there! PS: Non-smoker here, putting smoking station a bit away from entrance would be another plus from me.
