Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable and conveniently close to the rooftop pool and bar when we wanted to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "I love this hotel and look forward to my next visit. I came with my husband about 18 months ago and we had such a good time that I decided to return solo for 10 days to attend a Spanish language school, visit a friend, and just to bask in the glory of the hotel. As it turned out, I suffered a bad ankle sprain just before my visit so wasn’t about to tour around the town or region of Málaga. Given my circumstances, I was particularly glad to have chosen The Gran Hotel Miramar which offered lots to do at the hot and within a couple of blocks. I spent lots of time at the pool, ate at the poolside restaurant several times, and spent many evenings at the rooftop bar. The hotel is definitely posh which I am definitely not but I always felt comfortable and received exemplary service from the staff, one and all. As a solo traveler, I was never overlooked which can sometimes happen at other places. The restaurant food was consistently excellent, particularly the daily specials at the poolside restaurant. When I was ready for a change, I visited some local restaurant which offered variety and generally good service. I look forward to returning next year!"
