"Way too expensive for the room. Entrance smelled like urine. Also the one night of sleep that I had was abruptly ruined by jack hammers and pipes banging at 6:03am!! I was wondering why there was ear plugs next to the bed until I was woken up. No notice of construction on the site or even at front desk. For someone who travels very often if the hotel knows there is construction - they tell you. "

"They serve a great breakfast. I would recommend paying for it at the time of booking to save money. Everything about my stay was excellent. The only complaint was their slowness in releasing my room deposit upon checkout. "

"The guy who checked us in was more than accommodating! A Real life Saver I forget his name but I hope he sees this! Excellent staff Clean rooms Great View from the rooftop. We cooked out made use of the sky view room and had a Wonderful dinner with the Best view. "

"We had such a poor experience at Pendry DC that we chose to email the General Manager directly, as we generally prefer not to air concerns publicly. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week without even an acknowledgment that our message was received. That lack of response speaks volumes. In hospitality, especially at this level, accountability and follow-through are non-negotiable. The experience itself was disappointing, but the absence of any response afterward is what ultimately stands...

"All things related to the property itself were good. Only mishap was poor handling regarding checkout time frame. We agreed on a late checkout but I was called just before regular checkout time informing they couldn't honor it. Not professional!"

"Booked a wheelchair accessible room, was pretty spacious/clean shower isn't as accessible, valet was great overall would stay here again felt pretty safe. Staff is nice"

"This historic property is beautifully maintained and centrally located near the mall and museums, Old Ebbit Grill and Joes Crab, among other eateries. Also, the Round Robin grill, named by Walt Whitman, offers good food and great drinks. It is only one of two bars in the US to ask me if I wanted my martini stirred or shaken. The suites are spacious and amentities fine."

"The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful! The rooms were clean and the pool was a good added touch for our stay. The only complaint I have was the food. The breakfast buffet was like having nothing because it wasn’t good at all. There’s alot of near by good restaurants so it wasn’t that bad of a deal. Def would stay again! "
