"It’s a lovely 4 star hotel, but my room felt 3 star. It was comfortable, but a little tired. I was travelling solo and paid extra for a double room. It seems solo travellers are often slightly sidelined, and in this case my room was cosy but tucked out of the way next to the housekeeping store. This meant that a lie-in wasn’t really possible as staff arrived for work next door at 6am so there were doors closing and creaky floorboards outside until around 8am. Fortunately, I was out early myself most days, but this might be worth bearing in mind. My room was a little dusty and the curtains were fixed in place. I had to ask for them to be adjusted as they wouldn’t fully close. There was also a non-working plug socket and a blown bulb. I can’t fault the staff who were all lovely and quickly happy to help, the food was great and the restaurant and bar had a good atmosphere. I’d be happy to return, but I’d ask for a different room next time."

"The hotel is lovely. The room was really clean and the hotel smelled lovely as we walked in. Love the way you acquire your key as it's so simple. Great location and only have positive things to say about it. I met the owner on my way out this morning and she was lovely too. I'll definitely be going back to stay."

"The hotel is conveniently situated in central Salisbury. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not easily accessible for the infirm . I did not eat there as there was a wedding and the kitchen was closed."
