A gem in the heart of Amarante!

We really enjoyed our stay. A very modern hotel that is very tastefully decorated. Our room was very comfortable for 2 people. The location in the centre of Amarante was perfect. Deborah was an exceptional host, very friendly and very helpful. We would book again!

Great location. Good communication. Room had a small outside seating area which would have been great to use in finner weather. Breakfast at the cafe was very good. Room was good value for money. The person who checked us in was helpful and informative.

Classy Covelo

Covelo-Original is exactly what a small guesthouse should be. Our stay was perfect. The Covelo is in the heart of old town and steps away from restaurants and just over the bridge is the religious centre. The room had everything needed (fridge, kettle, coffeemaker, all of which aren’t common in a POR room). The bed was incredibly comfortable and the building has been renovated and modernized yet maintains both original and quirky charm. Staff are amazing and they go the extra step providing handy local info. They even go so far as providing a WhatsApp contact should help be required “after hours”. I highly recommend The Covelo, one of the best guesthouses I have ever visited.

Tiny place that doesn't have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, don't stay at this place. Dark stairs. The light is delayed in turning on so you have to walk in the dark first before it turns on - accident waiting to happen.

Avoid room #7. First of all, you must take many steps to get to the highest floor and the lights keep turn off by itself (dark and kind of slippery). Secondly, room #7 with slanted ceiling, the ceiling is super low, it hit both my husband and myself a couple of times, and I am short, only 155cm. In my opinion, this room should not pass inspection for rent. Not safe.

Excellent. From day -1 I was contacted by the manager for directions. Day 1 we were well received in a fantastic room were me and my son could enjoy as we here at home and with the surrounding atmosphere everything worked alright. Highly recommend Mauro. Very nice person from the city that will not deceive you in his choices. Clean, organized, very well placed room in Amarante. Will come back for sure

Génial

Hôtel absolument génial, au plein centre, avec un super design, la literie est très confortable. Petit déjeuner est une expérience à part que j'aimerais bien revivre un jour. Si je retourne à Amarante, pas question de s'arrêter dans un autre hôtel :)
