The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. "If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city).
The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area.
As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places to eat out. "

The seaside view was wonderful. I wanted to stare at ot for days. Breakfast buffet had plenty of option and the dining hall was spacious. they also provided a drink bar at night. Indoor and outdoor hot springs.
